Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to meet the aims of our vision: Inspired by God’s love for us, we are a vibrant learning community, valuing our history, empowering all and working together to create limitless opportunities and lifelong learners.

Taking into account the specific needs of our pupils and our locality, we have decided upon the following themes which will drive our curriculum:
Curiosity
Resilience
Collaboration
Diversity and Spirituality

Being a part of Frenchay gives us opportunities that enable us to learn about aspects that are unique to our setting. For example, children in Year 4 learn about the life of the Fry family who made the first chocolate bars. The family lived in Frenchay and the museum still holds memorabilia about the family.

Believe, Belong, Become

‘And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds’
